Fall 2019 Market Update for Oakland County Michigan

“How’s the market?” It’s a hot topic of conversation everywhere I go! Here’s the scoop for Oakland County, Michigan. Sales prices are up 3.2% over last year. The number of homes currently on the market is up by 8%. And the average number of days on the market has increased slightly from 34 days to 36 days, with high-end homes lingering on the market the longest. To sell your home faster it needs to be priced right and stand out from the competition. More than ever, you need great marketing including beautiful photography, aerial drone video, interior video, and maybe even some staging. Everyone knows a Realtor, but did you know less than 3% of agents nationwide are properly using marketing their listings? 74% spend an average of 41 minutes per day on social media. So we’d be crazy not to advertise on social media. But, it takes a marketing expert to do it right. Our recent listing had over 30 thousand video views in the first week and sold for over asking after just a few days on market. Video and online marketing are the wave of the future.
